Our Story
I was trying to find a suitable horseshoe gift for a wedding that really reflected the bride’s personality. There was nothing on the market that fitted the bill so like all good stories, I made it up.
A friend owned a horse (called Cassie) and I asked for a horseshoe. I attached some flowers, ribbons and part of a bracelet that was special to me and came up with my first effort. The bride loved it and a number of the guests asked where it had come from. That got me thinking……
With the help of my husband, Gordon and a lot of encouragement from friends and family, I started to experiment with framing the horseshoe to allow it to be a keepsake. Then came the background in various materials which allowed the horseshoes to be used for many different occasions not only weddings in fact anytime you want to send Real Luck!
The final unique addition to all our keepsakes is the combination of artificial flowers, real feathers, and little personal touches like metal keys, ribbons, beads and other items that make each horseshoe and the sentiment unique.
Since then I have created more and more examples that I would like to share. Check out the Gallery page to see some examples.
